On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Miquel Moretó, a professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), lead of hardware of the BZL  and researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), delivered a lecture at the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Murcia. The talk, titled “Designing High Performance Computers at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center”, took place at 12:00 PM in the Sala de Grados.

In his presentation, Moretó discussed advancements in supercomputer design at BSC, highlighting the significance of RISC-V architecture and efforts towards sustainability and energy efficiency. He also emphasized collaboration with strategic partners and the academic and industrial impact of these developments.
