The Barcelona Zettascale Lab (BZL) reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and European technological sovereignty by actively participating in key industry events. Recently, Miquel Moretó and Teresa Cervero represented BZL at the second edition of CHIPNATION, the flagship congress of the semiconductor industry in Spain, held on December 2-3, 2024, at CaixaForum València.
Organized by the Spanish Association of the Semiconductor Industry (AESEMI) and the Valencia Silicon Cluster (VASIC), CHIPNATION 2024 brought together experts, companies, and professionals to explore the latest trends and advancements in the semiconductor sector.
During the event, Teresa Cervero actively contributed to the ChipNation working group, which focused on the Draghi report, a strategic document for the development of Europe’s semiconductor industry. Meanwhile, Miquel Moretó attended various sessions, emphasizing BZL’s impact on designing chips based on RISC-V architecture, pivotal for supercomputing and sustainability applications.
