This year, the Barcelona Zettascale Lab (BZL) will be present at 4YFN during the Mobile World Congress, the leading event that brings together the entire global ecosystem of connectivity and digital innovation.
As part of the BSC AI Factory booth (Hall 8.1), this space will provide startups with the opportunity to gain visibility, engage with industry leaders, connect with investors and founders, and showcase their solutions at one of the world’s most influential technology gatherings.
In addition, BZL will feature a presentation by Santi López, Research Engineer at the Computer Sciences Department at BSC, titled: “Barcelona Zettascale Laboratory: European Chips for AI and Supercomputing,” addressing the strategic role of European chips in the future of AI and supercomputing.
On the other hand, we will be present at the booth of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, within the stand of the Generalitat de Catalunya, where the team will showcase how the project is driving and strengthening European capabilities and expertise in the design and development of next-generation HPC chips based on RISC-V. In addition, a live demo of the TC1 chip will be presented.
