On Tuesday, June 16, as part of the SARTECO Conference, experts from the Barcelona Zettascale Lab (BZL) organized the tutorial “How to gain experience in RISC-V with the BZL project.” This activity helped bring the RISC-V ecosystem closer to attendees, while also offering a clear overview of the complexity involved in the design and development of high-performance architectures.
The tutorial gave participants the opportunity to explore and work with some of the outcomes of the BZL project through an immersive and highly practical training experience. This hands-on approach helped consolidate knowledge, while also aiming to spark participants’ curiosity to identify and explore new possibilities using the resources provided.
With this tutorial, BZL reinforces its commitment to applied training and to bringing research in advanced architectures closer to the academic and technical community, promoting active learning in key technologies for the future of supercomputing.
