The Barcelona Zettascale Lab (BZL) attended the second edition of the RISC-V Summit Europe 2024, held from June 24 to 28 in Munich, Germany. This event, one of Europe’s most significant conferences on RISC-V architecture, brought together industry leaders, academics, and government sector representatives to explore and define the future of open computing in Europe.
During the academic and industrial congress, BZL’s principal investigator Miquel Moretó attended several sessions to stay updated on the latest advances in RISC-V-based chip prototype development. This year, the BSC had a booth where an EPAC demonstration was presented as a part of the European EPI project.
The RISC-V Summit Europe has become an essential platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange among key industry and academic players. Attendees participated in technical sessions, workshops, and an exhibition showcasing the latest solutions and developments in the RISC-V ecosystem. The event also offered a unique opportunity to build networks and foster new collaborations that will drive growth and innovation in the field of open computing.
